Sailing South
By Judith Prior

A tall tale of a tall ship, somewhere between farce and adult pantomime.

The Honourable Judge Eustace McDonald is horrified to find that his mother Lavinia has enlisted him in the navy. His commission on the good ship Venus, crewed with mostly female ticket of leave prisoners is fraught with much audience participation. and threats of mutiny.

The purser Francois is in charge of sport and recreation, a healthy mind creates a healthy body he says.... The female crew make life interesting for the pair of them. What happens during the voyage has to be seen to be believed!

A rollicking romp of unlikely proportions set on the high seas on the way to Australia.
